Amy has lived in the Nashville area for over 20 years. She has both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee. She holds her Clinical Certificate of Competency (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Tennessee.
As a speech-language pathologist, Amy has worked in the private, outpatient rehabilitation, and public school settings. She has provided evaluations and treatments of a range of areas such articulation disorders, language delays and disorders, phonological disorders, fluency, and childhood apraxia of speech. Her primary experience is with the preschool and early elementary populations.
Amy believes it is important to develop relationships and trust with her clients, their families, other service providers, and teachers to reach the greatest outcomes. Her goal is to always make learning and communicating enjoyable and rewarding.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, two college-aged sons, her dog, Dolly, as well as family and friends. She loves playing tennis and pickleball. She also loves all things Vols!
