About

Alecia Jackson is a native of Bradenton, Florida and moved to the Nashville area in 2007. She graduated from Tennessee State University in August 2017, with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Interior Design.

Alecia completed her clinical fellowship year with Williamson County Schools where she serves as an SLP in the early childhood program. Alecia’s clinical experience includes treating various speech and language disorders in the pre-school and school-aged populations as well as in-patient rehab in the medical field. She also served as an autism specialist in the public schools while she was finishing grad school so there is a special place in her heart for children with ASD. Alecia believes that building rapport with every child is of the utmost importance for success in reaching their goals and strives to find ways to connect with her students on their level.

Alecia loves watching Florida State football, playing intramural sports (especially kickball), hiking, traveling, exploring new places to eat, and renovating her house. She is married with a young stepson and two large stepdogs.
